After our awesome topic of Superheroes last term we have launched our spring Term's learning with the topic of Dinosaurs! We have already had a very exciting visitor - Millie the 7 year old T-Rex who came with Johnny to help us learn all about when dinosaurs ruled the Earth. We also had the opportunity to dig for fossils and find out lots more about them.
In the summer term Reception had great fun growing their own beanstalks, building giant's castles and sharing out the giant's money. They made bread like the Little Red Hen and created their own farms, thinking about what animals and crops they might live/grow on them.
We love reading in Beech class - especially when the year 6 children from Willow class come and read with us. Sometimes we read to them and other times they read to us. Here we are making the most of the beautiful weather in our fab outdoor area.
